Even its complication is of the modest kind. Not in the way that it is technically achieved, as Lange Söhne never cut any corners there, but in the way that it is presented. When at home the blued hand is hidden underneath the white gold one, leaving only its 24-hour subdial, and the two pushers on the left side of the case, as evidence that this watch is not a mere time-only. When traveling the time can easily be adjusted with those two pushers, as it moves the white gold hand to the time zone you are currently in. The blued hand then shows the time at your home, with the 24-hour subdial showing wither it is day or night.
The Saxonia Dual Time leaves some of its discretion behind when it comes to its movement, which it shows off through its glass case back. With its bridges and main plate crafted from German Silver, is caliber L086.2 finished to perfection. Gold chatons, blued screws, hand chamfered and polished edge of the traditional three-quarter plate, and of course, the hand-engraved balance cock makes it a sight for sore eyes.
