In just a decade, Dubai Watch Week has evolved into one of the most influential gatherings in the watchmaking world. Its seventh edition, held from 19–23 November 2025, has been filled with events that spoke to both seasoned insiders and beginner collectors alike.

Against the iconic backdrop of the Burj Khalifa, the fair hosted candid panel discussions featuring esteemed CEOs like Jean Frédéric Dufour of Rolex, Ilaria Resta of Audemars Piguet, Karl-Freidrich Scheufele of Chopard, and Georges Kern of the newly minted House of Brands.

This horological playground’s array of workshops and seminars also invited participants to discover traditional arts like marquetry and martelé from artisans like Fiona Krüger and Atelier Wen. Fair organizer Ahmed Seddiqi Sons had already unveiled several novelties in celebration of its 75th anniversary, but as we predicted, many more tribute timepieces poured in at Dubai Watch Week 2025, in homage to Seddiqi and its contributions to the industry.

Bremont Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT Mono-pusher

Powered by a movement exclusively designed by Agenhor for Bremont, the Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT Mono-pusher marks the first time the British brand has combined these two complications. Bremont has used its four sub-dials very creatively—the month and leap year cycle are indicated at 3 o’clock, the date at 6, the seconds at 9, and a domed globe disc at 12 indicates a second time zone. This Air Force Blue timepiece is also limited to 50 examples.

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Mattar Bin Lahej

The holder of multiple world records in ultra-thinness, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo collection has been an emphatic canvas for technical and artistic expression for over a decade. Now, celebrated Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej has emblazoned it with a quote from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. Laser-engraved onto this 40mm by 5mm titanium timepiece, the calligraphy reads: “The future will be for those who can imagine, design, and implement it. The future does not wait, but it can be designed and built today.”

Powering this 70-piece limited edition is the caliber BVL 138, a 3Hz movement that is only 2.23mm thin, and has been beautified with an array of decorative techniques.

Doxa SUB 300 Beta DWW 2025 Edition

The illustrious partnership between Doxa and Seddiqi has produced enticing creations like the Doxa SUB 250 Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Limited Edition with cherry red dial, and Doxa SUB 300 Beta Seddiqi Limited Edition with mother-of-pearl dial, which both sported beads-of-rice-esque bracelets. This week, Doxa’s cherry dial returned in celebration of Dubai Watch Week, this time on a black rubber strap with deployant clasp. Limited to only 11 examples, the 42.5mm Doxa SUB 300 Beta DWW 2025 Edition encases this 1967 icon in black ceramic, lined by a titanium interior that confers this timepiece 300m of water resistance. Its sunburst dial matches its printed outer minute track, while Super-LumiNova-coated indices, pointers and dot at 12 o’clock recall Doxa’s pivotal role in dive watch history. Within beats a COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with hacking seconds and 38 hours of power reserve, and its rubber strap can be easily swapped out for its accompanying grey NATO strap.

Gerald Charles Maestro GC39 Remaster Diamond Baguettes

Distinguished by the jumping hour complication that the late Gérald Charles Genta loved, the Gerald Charles Maestro gradually rose in popularity to become the flagship offering of his eponymous brand. Not only has the GC39 been set with 60 baguette-cut diamonds to celebrate Dubai Watch Week—the maison moved the Gerald Charles Atelier Museum to Dubai Watch Week’s exhibition space, so that patrons could try their hand at traditional techniques like dial-hammering and the brand’s unique and proprietary meta-guilloché finish. These techniques are part of the immense artistry and savoir-faire that went into this opulent 25th anniversary timepiece.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Three Gold Bridges

Girard-Perregaux used the occasion of Dubai Watch Week to combined its two vaunted icons. The Laureato was fully developed and manufactured in-house, and released in 1975, while the maison’s proprietary Three Bridges design, which aligns the barrel, gear train and tourbillon through an inverted movement construction, was presented by brand founder Constant Girard in 1867. The new Girard-Perregaux Laureato Three Gold Bridges marries these two icons within a 41mm case. Limited to 50 examples, this 50th anniversary tribute timepiece is powered by the new in-house GP9620 movement, which features 418 hand-polished bevels, including 362 inward angles. Girard-Perregaux has also created a non-limited version that is set with 32 baguette-cut diamonds.

Louis Vuitton Escale in Ornamental Stones / Photo credit: Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton Escale in Ornamental Stones

Piaget has made it a core design code, Rolexes with this feature are doing exceptionally well at auctions, Jean-Claude Biver just released several novelties with it, and Dennison just won a GPHG prize for it—it’s safe to say that precious stone dials have made a huge comeback. And at Dubai Watch Week, Louis Vuitton presented its acclaimed Escale in turquoise and malachite. Inspired by dress watches of the late 20th century, La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director Matthieu Hegi decided to endow the Escale with precious stone dials, and each variant is limited to 30 pieces. Their 40mm platinum cases also feature casebands crafted from turquoise or malachite. Notably, Louis Vuitton’s sister brands Gérald Genta and Daniel Roth also announced new iterations of the 41mm Gérald Genta Gentissima with meteorite dial, and Daniel Roth Tourbillon in platinum.

MB&F HM11 Art Deco / Photo credit: MB&F

MB&F HM11 Art Deco editions

Dubai-resident Maximilian Büsser often waxes lyrical about Seddiqi and how its support has been crucial to the flourishing of his namesake MB&F. So, in celebration of Dubai Watch Week, Büsser reimagined the Horological Machine 11 Architect together with veteran industrial designer Maximilian Maertens in the style of 1930s Art Deco architecture. The original HM11 Architect of 2023 was Büsser’s interpretation of a tiny, inhabitable structure. The four “rooms” of this 42mm titanium timepiece each serve a unique purpose: indicating time, power reserve, temperature, and for time-setting. Beneath its sapphire domes, an in-house caliber drives a central flying tourbillon on bevel gears, completing the sense of mechanical micro-architecture. This movement packs an impressive four days of power reserve, and every 45° rotation winds the movement by 72 minutes, which means the power reserve is replenished in 10 turns or less.

In the green and blue versions of the HM11 Art Deco, conical rods are replaced with sunbeam motifs. Two-tone rings and period typography shape the displays, and the hands are filled with translucent red enamel, evoking stained glass. The bridges rise in stepped, stone-like forms, while the grooved “roof” evokes early 20th century skyscrapers. Even the crown gains ziggurat-like steps. The blue version with 3N yellow-gold-toned bridges of the HM11 Art Deco, and green version with 5N rose-gold-toned bridges, are each paired with lizard straps and limited to 10 pieces each.

Norqain Wild ONE 42mm Meteorite Special Edition

Known for creating carbon-fiber watches under the mentorship of the inimitable Jean-Claude Biver, Norqain has created a meteorite version of the Wild ONE, which is the crown jewel of its range of products. With lightweight cases made from its proprietary carbon-fiber composite material called Norteq and state-of-the-art shock-resistance technology, Wild ONE timepieces can withstand 5,000G of force and be submerged to a depth of 200m. The Dubai Watch Week addition to this collection sports a 42mm burgundy case and iron meteorite dial. These are complemented by openworked hands that are diamond-cut, black-plated, and lume-coated. This 300-piece limited edition is powered by the Norqain manufacture caliber NN20/1, which packs an impressive 70 hours of autonomy and was developed by sister brand Kenissi.

This new-generation Oris ProPilot Date arrives in a 41mm stainless steel case with the option of black PVD coating. Its textured dial too is available in three colors: black, chalk, or moss. Although it features some modern touches, several design codes of this novelty, like its iconic crown and uncommon style of fluting, hark back to the 1938 Big Crown Pointer Date, which was Oris’s first aviation-themed timepiece. Its Sellita-based Calibre 733 bears Oris’s renowned Red Rotor, and is available on metal bracelet or suede leather strap.

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante Arctic Rose

The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante is an unprecedented complication that was launched in 2023—its pushers separate two superimposed minute hands that would otherwise appear as one, and the minute hands meet again when the stipulated time has elapsed. This innovative timepiece returns in stainless steel with a pink ‘Arctic Rose’ dial that has been finished with the maison’s beloved Grain d’Orge pattern. The PF052 caliber, which is visible from the caseback, also captivates with hand-finishing techniques, such as Grain d’Orge guilloche, Côtes de Genève, beveling and perlage.

TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph

A 1960s and 70s icon most often associated with Steve McQueen and his movie Le Mans, the Monaco Chronograph has been rendered in neon colors meant to evoke the cyberpunk hues of Formula 1 night races. Limited to 600 pieces, this 39mm titanium beauty’s openworked dial glistens from purple to blue. TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1

TAG Heuer fans will immediately notice that there’s something strikingly different about the new Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1. While it might look like another skeletonized Monaco Chronograph, its new architecture gives away that it’s anything but. It isn’t skeletonized in the conventional sense, where metal from plates and bridges are removed—instead, the layers of this openworked timepiece have been built from the bottom up using an aerospace manufacturing technique called Selective Laser Melting (SLM), where titanium powder is sintered into solid blocks. The result is a slim and lithe stalwart, which is accentuated by white accents and limited to 30 pieces. At the heart of this grade 5 titanium masterpiece beats the Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier-partnership Calibre TH81-00, which is the manufacture’s top-of-the-line split-seconds movement.

Ulysse Nardin × Urwerk UR-FREAK

A scintillating collab that stopped Dubai Watch Week guests in their tracks, the UR-FREAK merges Ulysse Nardin’s iconic Freak with Urwerk’s signature satellite time display. Both watch brands developed along similar trajectories, with roots that trace back to the late 1990s and early 2000s, when both companies helped shape modern independent watchmaking: Urwerk was founded in 1997, and the Freak debuted in 2001. Ulysse Nardin pioneered silicon components and radical movement architecture, treating the Freak as a canvas for experimental innovation, while Urwerk pursued avant-garde, futuristic horology. The UR-FREAK unites these legacies, reinterpreting the Freak’s unique concept through Urwerk’s conceptual display system. Limited to 100 examples, the UR-FREAK’s 44mm titanium sandblasted case enthrones the Caliber UN-241 Manufacture, which packs patented technology like the oversized balance wheel and balance spring in silicon, as well as the escapement wheel and anchor in DIAMonSil.
