The collaboration between Audemars Piguet and one of Asia’s foremost luxury retail house resulted in the launch of a unique watch, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra-Thin The Hour Glass Limited Edition.
To celebrate this memorable launch, an intimate dinner was organised at Senso Ristorante, where friends and clients of the The Hour Glass and of Audemars Piguet, one of the oldest fine watchmaking manufacturer, gathered to enjoy fine Italian cuisine with fine wine in a Vault-themed evening setting.
Established in 1875 with a definitive mark on the world of Haute Horlogerie, Audemars Piguet used 18-carat yellow gold to create the limited edition of 50 pieces, in dedication to Singapore luxury retailer The Hour Glass. Since time memorable, gold has always stood for power and wealth. The precious metal has always been yellow, epitomizing the colour of the sun, standing for it’s brightness.
A deep green shade was selected by the watch designers to showcase the Swiss watchmaker’s iconic “petite tapisserie” dial. What is even more unique about the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra-Thin The Hour Glass Limited Edition watch is that each watch comes with a personalized oscillating weight engraved with the inscription of “The Hour Glass” and “One of Fifty”.
