Lady Nina: A Symbol of Style and Speed

Maiora has become somehow become the first choice for fast, fibreglass yachts. Founded in the ’70s, the Italian yard that is a subsidiary of Fipa Group has delivered a fleet of breakneck vessels that are made to mesmerise. The company’s latest 115-footer ‘convertible’ known as Lady Nina, promises to cut your travel time in half thanks to the high-speed planing hull.

Debuted at the Genoa Boat Show earlier this month, this amazing superyacht is the first in Maiora’s new Exuma series, that possesses the Italian yard’s signature carbon fibre construction and both interiors and exteriors are designed in house. Built for a repeat client from America, her grand stature instantly attracted a lot of interest!redit: Maiora YachtsPhoto Credit: Maiora YacThe spacious sofas, 70″ concealed TV add on to the grandeur of the huge sunbathing area, with access to an ‘infinity pool’ with a glass backside which gives the impression to swimming towards the horizon. Lady Nina also boasts a flybridge, which is not only open for navigation in the open air, but it can also be closed by a sliding glass to offer a special dining area. The 5-metre tender is stored in the stern garage.

Lady Nina offers luxurious interiors fit for marine connoisseurs, an airy aft deck that spans roughly 645 square feet and is perfect for alfrescos transcends into an experience worth remembering. The majestic boat can host a total of 10 guests across the stately full-beam master suite, a double cabin, a twin cabin plus a Pullman berth and the spacious VIP suite, all of them located on the lower deck. The best feature, however, is the refrigerated tequila rack integrated into one of the side columns between the main salon and aft deck. – that is what you call yachting in style!

With a magnificent structure, Lady Nina also has a powerful core, three 1,925 HP Caterpillar C32 Acert engines that work together with AB Yachts, a pioneer of water jet propulsion’s two MJP steerable waterjets (that makes it have an efficient grunt!). Along with all this power, a central booster jet helps the yacht achieve a maximum speed of 32 knots, a cruising speed of 27 knots and cover some 1,600 nautical miles. On top of that, the black hull and white superstructure has a beam of 6.45m, while her draught is of 1,8m.
