Jay Z Gifts Robinson Cano #2 of 100 Shawn Carter by Hublot

“Lots of fun last night,” Robinson Cano wrote on his Instagram. That might be the understatement of the century! The New York Yankees second baseman was referring to his 31st birthday celebration, where he received a special gift from Jay Z: number 2 of 100 limited edition Shawn Carter by Hublot watches.

The piece Cano received as a gift from Jay Z’s Roc Nation is part of the 18K yellow gold edition of the Shawn Carter Classic Fusion. The gold model features the Shawn Carter logo on the dial and is fitted with a black alligator leather strap.

Originally founded by Jay Z as an entertainment company, Roc Nation expanded into sports management this year with the creation of Roc Nation Sports. The company’s first major move was signing Cano.
