Usually it’s Formula One superstars like IWC’s Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg hitting the track at Sepang International Circuit. However, with the Formula 1 race off till next season (after an amazing win by Sebastian Vettel), Mercedes-Benz hosted a unique event at Malaysia’s famous racetrack.
The automaker let F1 fans get behind the wheel at Malaysia's famous racetrack...
The luxury automaker offered F1 fans the chance to get behind the wheel and experience the track for themselves with the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience 2013. The event is also an opportunity to master the skills of safer and better driving. With a cost of RM 4,500 (approximately US$1,400) the event included a theory presentation and two exercises behind the wheel on the track, completed by a certificate presentation at the end of the day.
One of the participants, Johann Koch, commented, “Great experience and I surely recommend this “Driving Experience” to anyone who wants to grasp the feel of driving on such a challenging circuit.”
