Swiss-based watchmaker Chopard is rolling out its new collection of Happy Fish Chronograph watches decorated with moving, jewel-laden clown fish. Designed to bring a smile to even the busiest woman’s face, the Happy Fish series continues to evolve in beauty and function.
Swiss-based watchmaker Chopard is rolling out its new collection of Happy Fish Chronograph watches decorated with moving, jewel-laden clown fish.
Available in 18K rose or white gold, the case measures 32 mm in diameter and 8.5 mm thick. A quartz movement powers the scuba-themed timepiece, with its subaquatic dial painted in shades of blue that mimic the “bustle of a lively coral reef,” according to a press release.
Water resistant to a depth of 100 feet, a sapphire crystal is surrounded by a jeweled bezel decorated with either yellow sapphire, tsavorite, onyx or ruby stones. A blue rubber strap complements the painted dial, which on closer examination resembles a stained-glass window that one might find if fish had churches. Held in place by a tang clasp, the Happy Fish Chronograph is sure to be a conversation starter, whether in a conference room or at a cocktail party.
Chopard is a privately held company headquartered in Geneva. Founded in 1860 by 24 year old Louis-Ulysse Chopard, it is one of four watchmaking companies that compose the Fleurier Quality Foundation.
