Beginning March 1, Michael Margolis will be the new president of America for Sowind, which owns the luxury Swiss watch brand Girard-Perregaux as well as the watch company JeanRichard.
Margolis will oversee the U.S. expansion strategy for Swiss watchmakers along with Sowind CEO, Michele Sofisti and managing director of Girard-Perregaux, Stefano Macaluso.
Margolis began his sales career at Crest Reprographics before moving on to Nikon. From 1996 to 2007, Margolis worked as a moderator for TimeZone.com, it was during this time that his passion for luxury timepieces blossomed.
