Daphne Guinness, Roger Dubuis and Haute Living Host Intimate VIP Dinner

Haute Living kicked off Art Basel in style with an event Vogue called ‘one of the most anticipated of the week’. The dinner party was a celebration of Daphne Guinness’ collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis, called the Velvet Collection. Guests including Karolina Kurkova, Russell Simmons, Miami Heat player Ray Allen, Real Housewives Lea Black and Marysol Patton, actor Stephen Dorff, IWC President Gianfranco D’Attis, Haute Living’s Kamal Hotchandani, artist Alec Monopoly, and DJ Irie gathered in the courtyard of the Villa Azure. A sixty-person table with violet roses evoked the Velvet Collection (even Martha Stewart wanted a picture!), while Dom Pérignon showed off a David Lynch-designed bottle. After dinner guests walked next door to the Avant Gallery to view Monopoly’s latest exhibition, where the artist gave a live demonstration of his talents.
