Carnegie Hall Unveils Exclusive Breguet Timepiece at Opening Gala

On October 3rd, Carnegie Hall opened the Fall season with a benefit concert raising nearly $2.7 million to go towards the musical establishment’s artistic and educational programs. The Haute Minute

On October 3rd, Carnegie Hall opened the Fall season with a benefit concert raising nearly $2.7 million to go towards the musical establishment’s artistic and educational programs.

At the gala, Carnegie Hall revealed the new specially designed Breuget Clock in its Morse lobby punctually at 5 o’clock on the dot, as part of its partnership with Breguet, the official timepiece of this New York institution. This is the first clock Breguet has designed for a United States building, and is designed after Breguet’s original Tourbillon from 1801 with the brand’s signature blue hands. Breguet’s U.S. Brand President, Carnegie Hall’s Artistic Director and Board Chairman joked that concert goers will never have an excuse to be late again. Especially not after Breguet complete’s its mission to put a clock in every room of Carnegie hall from the ladies rooms to its grander spaces.
