The Grande Seconde Tourbillon Aventurine features a 39 mm white gold case. The bezel and lugs are adorned with 382 brilliant cut diamonds, as is the familiar figure eight motif on the dial. The aventurine dial and oscillating weight creates a miniature night sky with tiny sparkling stars. Hours and minutes are shown in the mother-of-pearl dial just below the beating tourbillon. Blued hands mark the hours and minutes as well as seconds on the tourbillon.
This is the first timepiece Jaquet Droz offers with a tourbillon and mineral dial, equipped with an amazing complication boasting a self winding movement and featuring a 7 day power reserve in a 39 mm model.
