Roger Dubuis Excalibur skeleton chronograph in pink gold

Roger Dubuis is a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1995 by watchmaker Roger Dubuis and designer Carlos Dias, based in Meyrin near Geneva and owned by Richemont. Its principal collections are the Excalibur, Excalibur Spider, Knights of the Round Table and Monovortex. Every Roger Dubuis movement carries the Poincon de Geneve, the Geneva Seal - the maison certifies its entire production, which no other house of its scale does - and it is best known for skeletonised astral-star bridges and double flying tourbillons, plus motorsport partnerships with Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Pirelli.

Timely FAQs

What is the Poincon de Geneve and why does it matter here?
The Geneva Seal is a state-administered certification covering finishing and assembly of movements made within the Canton of Geneva. Roger Dubuis applies it to 100% of its output - most houses that use it certify only selected references.
What is a double flying tourbillon?
Two tourbillon cages, each with no upper bridge, linked by a differential that averages their rates. Roger Dubuis was the first to put the configuration into series production, and it remains the maison's signature complication.
Is Roger Dubuis a serious watchmaker or a design brand?
Both. The design language is deliberately loud, but the movements are made and certified in Geneva to the Poincon de Geneve, and the double flying tourbillon and Monovortex are genuine engineering, not styling.
Where can I read Roger Dubuis reviews from a watch publication?
Knockoff Watches Wholesale has published more than 90 Roger Dubuis stories, covering Excalibur launches, tourbillon releases and the Lamborghini and Pirelli collaborations.
