Dutch yacht-design company, Sinot, recently unveiled a detailed model of what will be the world's first hydrogen-powered superyacht— during the Monaco Yacht Show. The concept called 'Aqua' is a 376-foot long mega vessel that would run on liquid nitrogen and fuel-cell technology. The yacht's only emission would be water, and the system would depend on two 28-ton vacuum-sealed tanks of liquid hydrogen stored at -423 degrees Fahrenheit.

The concept called ‘Aqua‘ is a 376-foot long mega vessel that would run on liquid nitrogen and fuel-cell technology. The yacht’s only emission would be water, and the system would depend on two 28-ton vacuum-sealed tanks of liquid hydrogen stored at -423 degrees Fahrenheit.

Beyond game-changing technology, the vessel would feature state-of-the-art design and amenities. The five-deck superyacht is said to accommodate 14 guests and 31 crew members and will offer a range of 3,750 nautical miles and can reach a top speed of 17 knots on full fuel.

A spiral staircase in the center of the boat leads to the bottom deck where these monoliths sit behind strengthened glass, designed to keep the liquid hydrogen stable at -423.4° f. You will be able to see through the glass panel at the base of the spiraling staircase.

Inside, there are plans for an extensive indoor health and wellness center, featuring a gym, hydro-massage room and yoga studio.

In addition, as with any luxury yacht, there will be indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, with a formal dining area that seats 14 and a cascading infinity pool.

At the bow of the yacht, there will be an observatory deck where two people will be able to enjoy views of the horizon through floor-to-ceiling-windows.

As for accommodations, there will be a master pavilion, two VIP staterooms, and four regular staterooms—all boasting floor-to-ceiling-windows and minimalistic Japanese-inspired design.

Aqua will also have carrying space for two 32-foot tenders and three jet skis—because all yacht owners love their toys. There will also be an optional helipad, where a hydrogen-powered EVTOL can drop-off guests.
