Luxury Swiss watch brand, Hublot, and 50-0 champion boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather, launch two exquisite new Big Bang Unico TMT timepieceslaunched.

In an epic collaboration between luxury Swiss watch brand, Hublot, and 50-0 champion boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather, two, exquisite new Big Bang Unico TMT timepieces were launched. Hundreds of fans gathered outside the Hublot boutique in Crystals, Las Vegas, to catch a glimpse of Mayweather himself, who joined global CEO Ricardo Guadalupe and managing director at Hublot USA, Jean-Francois Sberro, to announce the exciting launch.

“Everyone knows I’m crazy about mechanical beauties, especially sparkling watches,” began Mayweather, as an impressive, 15-second Hublot X Mayweather visual played on repeat on the Branded Cities billboard—one of the largest billboards in the world, spanning the length of a football field—on the Las Vegas strip. “I’m truly proud to see the letters TMT x Hublot glittering on top of my watch. This timepiece means a lot to me. It symbolizes my career, my unbeaten 50-0 record and my last fight when I made history!”

It’s no secret that Mayweather has been an ambassador to the brand for a few years now, beginning in 2015 during his historic bout versus Manny Pacquiao, in what was dubbed the “fight of the century.” Since then, the superstar athlete has donned an unmissable ode to the brand, with large HUBLOT lettering, embellished on his shorts. The partnership makes sense, as both Hublot and Mayweather are undeniably, champions in their respective fields.

“It’s an honor for us to be associated with the Noble Art’s legend of legends,” said Guadalupe. “A champion who, in taking his 50th victory, holds the discipline’s record. ‘The Best Ever!’ 50 victories, no defeats, absolute mastery of an art that requires fighting spirit, bravery, self-transcendence, a sense of honor and keen tactical sense. Avoiding punches, and landing precise, clean and powerful ones, without any doubt, round after round, fight after fight. It’s the perseverance that makes all the difference. A champion in our image ‘first, unique, different!’”

The five-time world champion’s signature gold coloring is an eye-catching feature for both watches. For the case and bezel, 3N-18-karat gold-encrusted carbon fiber is used, which has manually-inserted gold powder in each layer. The acronym, “TMT” (Mayweather’s famous “The Money Team” phrase) in appliqué is prominently displayed at 12 o’clock, while the sapphire case at the back reads his other famous acronym, “TBE,” or, “The Best Ever.”

Only 100 of these watches have been made, while only 10 pieces have been made of the super haute second limited-edition piece, which is set entirely in 3N gold with 48 baguette-cut diamonds and 378 brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 4.85 carats. Both are manufactured in-house and use Hublot’s signature self-winding, flyback movement with a column wheel, have a 72-hour power reserve and a strap made from black rubber, calf leather and python, with gold-hued studs. When purchased, the special timepieces are delivered with a boxing glove signed by Mayweather.

The gorgeous timepieces are of course, a huge win for both Hublot and Mayweather. Does that now change ‘Money’s’ record to 51-0?
