Not too long ago, we brought the story of the blue diamond that was set into the Jane Seymour ring – valued at $2 million. Now, we bring you the elaborate experience that goes along with buying that ring – including taking home what could possibly be the world’s most expensive chopsticks that are adorned with diamonds.
By Roberta Naas Quite possibly the world's most expensive chopsticks, these diamond-bedecked utensils designed by World of Diamonds Russian conglomerate are part of the take-aways for the Jane Seymour Blue Diamond Ring dining experience (valued at $2 million).
Russian conglomerate World of Diamonds, which created the Jane Seymour ring and the chopsticks, values them at $17,000 a pair – and the lucky buyer of the ring and the experience will get two sets of these beauties.

[/caption]Each set of chopsticks is made of 110 grams of finely carved 925 sterling silver and then finished with a combination of white and yellow gold plating. The plating technology provides optimal resistance against oxidation and offers ultimate sheen.
On the chopsticks a floral motif consisting of five geranium=type flowers (to mime the Jane Seymour ring setting) is created on two sides of the chopsticks via laser etching.
At the top of each chopstick, set against the yellow-gold plating, are five diamonds – each uniform in diameter (approximately 3mm) to offer a seamless design. In total, each pair of chopsticks is set with 42 round brilliant diamonds — in D-F color and VVS grade — weighing 4.20 carats. Each diamond has been hand faceted and polished. Each chopstick features five diamonds on each of its four sides and a single diamond on the top.
Of course the entire experience has been billed as the world’s most expensive dinner. At $2 million, the experience for the buyer of the ring includes a private luxury cruise, a helicopter tour over Singapore, a 18-course dinner at Ce’ La Vi, 10,000 roses and the diamond chopsticks and the Jane Seymour Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond Ring.
