A talisman is an object believed to contain magical and sacred powers. Combining Chanel symbolism with the talismanic power of set gemstones and diamonds, this new collection is a tour de force. A focus of the collection is the quatrefoil pattern that recalls the Chanel camellia – a flower with which Gabrielle ‘Coco’ had great love. Incorporating a mix of Japanese cultured pearls, multi-colored lacquer, sapphires and enamel, the shapes revealed echo both geometric and natural forms.
A piece for every taste and emotion, take for example the “Fascinante” necklace in 18-carat white gold set with a 2-carat pear-cut diamond, 2 brilliant-cut diamonds for a total weight of 1.3 carat and 713 brilliant-cut diamonds for a total weight of 19.5 carats and enamel. The necklace also features camellias on blue enamel set with diamonds. Or regard in awe the “Hynotique” necklace set in 18-carat white and yellow gold set with a 10.5-carat brilliant-cut blue violet tanzanite, a 1-carat brilliant-cut diamond and 468 brilliant cut diamonds.
