Ernst Benz Celebrates Top Athletes at the ESPYs

Ernst Benz and Westime teamed up for an exclusive pre-ESPYs event atop the W Hotel in Hollywood late last month which was attended by some of the time athletes in the world.

Ernst Benz’s Managing and Creative Director Leonid Khankin and Westime’s Leon Avramidis were on hand to present the latest collection of Great Circle timepieces to the VIP crowd.

Those who picked up the haute timepieces included Denver Broncos players Julius Thomas and Bradley Roby,pro boxer Victor Ortiz, Olympic swimmer Ed Moses and NFL star Terrell Owens.

The GBK Lounge also hosted a poker tournament benefitting the Model Citizen Fund.  Poker pros, athletes and actors competed to raise $60,000 for the charity. The winner of the tournament was Tim James, who took home a $10,000 Daniel Bass diamond encrusted necklace.

Photo Credit: EBIt’s no surprise that professional poker play Phillip Dennis “Phil” Ivey Jr. — a ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and one World Poker Tour title holder— won himself a $5,000 watch from Ernst Benz.

Respectively, the 3rd and 4th place winners got to choose from a three night stay to any of the Mayan Palace Resorts or a $3,000 bed from the luxury bed designer Maxim Mattress.
