Luxury watchmaker A. Lange Söhne is celebrating a new accolade! Hot on the heels of Walter Lange’s Hommage à la Passion award, the manufacture revealed this week that three of its timepieces have been recognized as well.

Here’s a close up look at the award-winning watches:

1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar

This timepiece, which was launched last year, took home the Golden Balance 2014 award for the best watch priced over €25,000 (the top category). This timepiece was selected from amongst 359 mechanical watches by the readers of the German watch journal Uhren Magazin, the news magazine Focus and the users of Focus-Online. Housed in a 41.9mm platinum case, this timepiece features hours and minutes, as well as a split-seconds chronograph, a 30-minute counter and a 42-hour power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, the month and a leap year indicator at 3 o’clock, a moonphase display at 6 o’clock, and the day and date at 9 o’clock.

This timepiece took home the Golden Balance 2014 award for the best watch priced up to€25,000. The two awards were accepted with pleasure by Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid at a gala event in Munich, Germany. Housed in a 39mm 18K rose gold case, this timepiece features hours and minutes, as well as small seconds at 4 o’clock and 72-hour power reserve indicator at 8 o’clock.

Grand Complication

In Italy, the Grand Complication took home the award for the “Complicated Watches” category at the Orologio dell’Anno (watch of the year) awards. The Orologio dell’Anno, chosen by the readers of L’Orologio, are the only Italian award for watchmaking. Housed in a 50mm 18K pink gold case, this timepiece features hours and minutes with a chiming mechanism with grand and small strike, as well as a split-seconds chronograph, the month and a leap year indicator at 12 o’clock, the date at 3 o’clock, a moonphase display at 6 o’clock, and the day at 9 o’clock.
