The newest addition to the Clifton Family, this timepiece truly represents Baume Mercier’s watchmaking history, paying homage The Baume Co Tourbillon Chronometer. The piece was awarded the most accurate in the world at the 1892 Kew Teddington Observatory chronometer competition, and a title Baume Mercier held for a decade after.
The 1892 Clifton Flying Tourbillon features an 18k red gold, 45.5mm case and is powered by a Calibre P951 manual-winding movement produced by The Val Fleurier Manufacture, owned by Richemont as well.
The beautiful silvered dial features gold hands, numerals and markers along with a small seconds dial at 6 o’clock and the tourbillon at 9 o’clock. The newest addition to the Clifton collection is fitted with an elegant blue alligator strap and gold buckle.
