Close Up: TAG Heuer Carrera MP4-12C Chronograph

Today we’re taking a close up look at the new Carrera MP4-12C Chronograph by TAG Heuer. The latest creation resulting from TAG Heuer’s partnership with McLaren, this timepiece was inspired by the automaker’s MP4-12C.

As the official watch of McLaren’s MP4-12C, the Carrera MP4-12C Chronograph reflects the color, materials, and design of the sports car. The carbon-based dial was influenced by McLaren’s carbon fibre chassis – a strong, yet light material pioneered by the automotive innovator. At its heart is a Dubois-Depraz Calibre 4900 movement, which boasts Flyback Chronograph and perpetual annual calendar functions.

The TAG Heuer Carrera MP4-12C Chronograph will be available by special order only at TAG Heuer boutiques. The retail price is $10,500.
