This week Lewis Hamilton paid a visit to the IWC Schaffhausen manufacture in Switzerland.

The MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team driver was in Schaffhausen (where else?), where IWC showed him inside the watchmaking process.
Hamilton, who is IWC’s newest brand ambassador, made time to visit the manufacture between the Italian Grand Prix at Monza and the upcoming race in Singapore.
The F1 driver and a group of select journalists from around the world got a tour of the cutting-edge Schaffhausen factory.
“This visit to the company’s production facilities has impressed upon me the degree of pride, passion and commitment IWC’s specialists invest in their success,” Hamilton told us. “Only very gifted engineers and technicians with a total dedication to perfection could possibly develop watch movements at this level of precision and innovation. According to the manufacture, Hamilton also had the chance to show off his skills! Hamilton got behind the wheel in a FORMULA 1 simulator, much to the delight of onlookers, and demonstrated the incredible driving which led him to victory in the FORMULA 1 MAGYAR NAGYDÍJ 2013 Grand Prix in Budapest, Hungary in July.
