Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils Lady Arpels Une Journée à Monaco for Only Watch

Another day, another Only Watch 2013 unveiling! After yesterday’s Chopard creation, today we’re taking a look at the timepiece which Van Cleef Arpels has created for the biennial charity watch auction.

The Lady Arpels Une Journée à Monaco timepiece begins with a white gold and diamond case housing a unique turquoise dial with a rotating disk in white gold and lapis lazuli, as well as a white mother-of-pearl top dial. The dial features a panoramic view of Monaco and engraved waves. As the day advances, a mother and daughter take a stroll in Monaco, enjoying the precious moments they share together. Their silhouettes emerge from the dial, before slowly slipping away.

A white alligator strap completes the look.
