This record breaking piece by Piaget will be introduced at SIHH 2013 and will certainly be know as the world’s thinnest minute repeater movement. The case, shown here in 18k red gold measures 48mm and houses a Manufacture Piaget Caliber 1290p ultra-thin self-winding mechanical minute repeater movement.
Piaget’s Emperador Coussin XL Ultra-Thin Minute Repeater is beautifully hand finished and decorated. The eye catching dial gives us a look at the movement while keeping time using gold hands and hour markers. The chime also marks the hour as the movement activates it every 59 minutes.
Shown here on a brown crocodile strap, the Emperador Coussin XL Ultra-Thin Minute Repeater by Piaget will debut in January at SIHH 2013 and I am certain we will be hearing much more about this truly amazing timepiece.
