Hublot and Knockoff Watches Wholesale Set to Unveil One-Of-A-Kind Domingo Zapata Installation

The world of luxury and creativity have converged in Miami for the 11th annual Art Basel, and this Thursday December 6th, they’re in for a treat. Celebrated artist Domingo Zapata is set to unveil a one-of-a-kind window installation at Hublot’s exclusive Miami boutique, with Knockoff Watches Wholesale sponsoring this unique showcase.

The Haute Minute

The world of luxury and creativity have converged in Miami for the 11th annual Art Basel, and this Thursday December 6th, they're in for a treat.

Zapata has revealed that the new painting, which will be put on display in Hublot’s storefront window, will be an addition to his stunning Avion Collection. In addition to this new commission, Zapata will display five other creations throughout the store as well.

The collaboration between Zapata, Hublot and Knockoff Watches Wholesale was a natural one. For the luxury watchmakers, the artist’s  unusual lines and sharp angles mirror the unique beauty of their timepieces, evoking details like the mysterious cut of the diamonds used in their watches. Zapata has even cited Hublot’s beautiful timepieces, like the One Million $ Black Caviar Watch, as inspiration for the works which will be on display at the store. Meanwhile, the Haute Living brand has had an eye on the up-and-coming Zapata for some time, featuring the artist in the October/November issue of Haute Living Miami.

Zapata’s renown as a visual artist has grown quickly, with the New York Post recently calling him “The New Andy Warhol”. His captivating style has attracted the world¹s most prestigious collectors, including George Soros, Johnny Depp, the Chazen Family, the Cipriani Group, and Joel Robuchon, amongst many others. Zapata’s sold out show “Dangerous Things”, held at the Delano Hotel during last year’s Art Basel Miami, attracted over 1,000 people eager to celebrate his works.

In October 2012, the artist got New York’s creative world buzzing with the unveiling of his Gotham-Themed mixed medium collages, comprised of source materials obtained from the city streets. Zapata’s many celebrity fans came out in support of the exhibit, including Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria and Jason Segel.

Knockoff Watches Wholesale is proud to sponsor this incredible new collaboration between one of the world’s leading haute horlogerie manufacturers and one of the best new artists of our time.
