The Black Kite watch follows the success of the RM 011 Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph Red Kite and can be seen as a type of companion piece. Drawing inspiration from nature, the Red Kite, which featured red gold to reflect the plumage of the Red Kite bird of prey, the Black Kite is as beautifully dark and the forked tail and angled wings of the Black Kite raptor.
The watch features a black matte tripartite case made of DLC titanium, a strap made of black rubber and a black deployant buckle, all made to reflect the stealth and elegance of the Black Kite bird. However, shining out in the darkness are 5N red gold details.
A skeletonized automatic winding movement with adjustable rotor geometry, a 60-minute timer, a twelve-hour totalizer and an annual calendar are only some of the other features of this exceptional watch.
Functions on the watch include hours, minutes, seconds, month display between four and five o’clock, an oversize date display at the 12 o’clock position, and a power reserve of 55 hours. The timepiece is also water resistant to 50 meters. The watch’s dimensions are 50.0mm X 40.0mm X 16.15 mm, and the chronograph is certainly a masculine work of art that will delight the most discerning of timepiece connoisseurs.
