Motor Racing Accents and a New Titanium Case: Breitling’s Navitimer Goes Full Throttle with Aston Martin

For the first time ever, the Breitling Navitimer has been forged in titanium.

The attention-grabbing resurgence of Breitling continues with a high-octane reimagination of this horological icon, which pays tribute to Aston Martin.

Draped in Aston Martin Racing Green and lime accents, the Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team celebrates Breitling’s new partnership with the tean as its Official Watch Partner.

Its 43mm titanium case is contrasted by a carbon-fiber dial themed on the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ car’s dashboard, and is secured to the wrist by a textured leather strap inspired by Formula 1® racing harnesses.

While Breitling Navitimer Aerospace models of the 1980s and 90s have featured titanium cases, the Navitimer chronograph has never been encased in titanium before.

The Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 with a 70-hour power reserve can be admired through a sapphire caseback—an in-house COSC-certified movement that is wound by a PVD matte-black tungsten oscillating weight. It is engraved with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team logo, while the circumference of the caseback is inscribed with “One of 1959”.

A Legacy of Accuracy

Limiting the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team to 1,959 examples is a tip of the hat to Aston Martin’s Formula 1® debut in 1959. The motorsports team’s drivers Graham Hill and Jim Clark were also aircraft pilots, and wore Breitling Navitimers on this momentous occasion—a precision timepiece which features a circular slide rule that enables the calibration of laps, speed and fuel consumption.

Breitling’s history of calibrating speed, however, can be traced even further back to the Breitling Vitesse that Leon Breitling launched in 1907, which can measure speeds of up to 250 miles or kilometers per hour, as well as the Breitling Top Time launched by Willy Breitling in 1964 that famously appeared on Thunderball (1965) as a high-tech watch that Q made for James Bond. In that movie, James Bond actor Sean Connery coincidentally drove an Aston Martin DB5.

A Shared Vision

While this new Navitimer’s tungsten rotor is emblazoned with the Aston Martin crest, the Breitling logo will likewise debut on the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ team’s uniforms and new AMR26 when this car is unveiled on February 9^th, 2026.
